Bit more of a personal disclaimer
I am incredibly lucky that as a makeup artist and beauty guru here on YouTube, I get 99% of my products sent from brands or given to me at press/pr events and launches. Although, if a product I require for a tutorial is not available as a press sample I will buy it myself. So, some products (the majority) I receive at my request from companies and some I purchase myself, but regardless of the origin of the item, it will always be reviewed with the utmost integrity and honesty.
