0 3 Hair Styles with a Bun Former/Donut I bought my Hair bun/doughnut at Sally’s beauty Supply for around $3 Yes, you can use a sock, but I like being able to stick bobby pins into the nooks this bun has. Socks typically don’t have those nooks and so it’s not as easy to insert a bobby pin into it.
