What is the best skin-care advice for an 18 year old girl?
I mostly get blackheads and the odd pimple or two every once in a while. My skin gets both dry and oily, and I just want to know what I can do to take care of it.
Does moisturizing cause it to be more oily?
Too much washing or scrubbing the skin harshly can make acne worse. And washing away surface oils doesn’t do much to prevent or cure acne, because it forms under the skin. The best way to clean the face is to gently wash it twice a day with a mild soap or cleanser. Be careful to remove make-up without harsh scrubbing.
What are some good beauty tips?
Im in middle school. So i cant wear really dark eye shadows and stuff but i wanna know any beauty tip you have. Im really into being healthy and looking beautiful and beauty products ect. So type ANY beauty tips you have. Thanks =]
I have a calick (I know its probably spelled wrong) And if you have anything that i can use to make it flater i would love to know because its in my bangs and i cant stand that.
Hm. I suggest you DON’T wear a lot of make-up, because after a while if you don’t wear it, you look scary. Uhmuhmuhm. Wash your face every night. Brush your teeth. Look both ways before crossing the street… Wait, nevermind. Heh xD
The Importance Of A Proper Hair Care Product
When it comes to taking care of our bodies we’ve found a way to combine good nutrition with diet in order to positively and profoundly impact our health. But when it comes to keeping our hair healthy and looking great, many of us are still missing the boat. In order to have the luxurious hair we’ve always dreamed of it is necessary to first understand what kind of hair we already have; that information can help us find the hair care product that best suits our needs so that we can have terrific hair before we know it!
Do you have thick hair? Thin hair? Curly hair? Straight hair? Oily hair? Dry hair? Short hair? Long hair? You must first identify and define your hair before you can treat it properly. There are literally thousands of hair care product on the market today and sifting through them means first eliminating those that will not work. You have to stay true to your hair; buying a gel that’s all the rage does little good if it has high alcohol content and you already have dry hair. Look for products that work with your hair rather than against it.
For instance, right in your local drugstore, you will undoubtedly find a serum hair care product to treat frizzy hair right out of shower; a thickening shampoo for to treat thinning hair; and conditioner for every condition of hair.
But aside from acting as a first line of response for hair care treatment, a hair care product should make your hair look great. From gels and mousse, to relaxers and curl enhancers; everything you may have ever wanted to do to your hair can be achieved with the use of one or several products on the market today.
You can always find a professional hair care product at high-end salons. And in some cases, your hair stylist may recommend that you use a specific product in order to correct some damage or enhance a particular style. Just keep in mind that the salon products are quite a bit more money than the product line in your local drug store. That being said, if the product makes a difference and helps you love your hair, it’s worth every penny.
Once you find the perfect hair care product for your hair and your lifestyle, use it consistently. You will soon find that you have finally gotten the hair you’ve always wanted.

What is the best skin care advice?
What is the BEST skin care advice that you’ve ever received to clear up acne? The best products, the best home remedies, the best daily activities, I want to know them all! Thanks so much to everybody in advance.
Besides washing your face morning and night (no sleeping in make-up!), toning, and moisturizing, the best advice I had was to see a dermatologist. I was given a prescription that cleared up my skin problems (acne during pregnancy) like a charm.
The best "trick" I ever heard of was for a spot treatment. Pure tea tree oil applied with a cotton swab. Hold it on the blemish until it starts to feel cold (a good 60 seconds). If you do this at night, it will dry up by morning, but the bump might still be there. Careful though, this can be very drying. Only apply it to the blemish.
Make up tips for a 58 year old woman?
Does anyone have any make up tips for a 58 year old woman with fair skin, greenish eyes, and dark brown hair?
Also, what haircolor could I change to, with my coloring, if I wanted to? Any suggestions? Thanks.
There is no need to change your hair colour unless you don’t like it. My hair is silver and I am constantly being told that it is very flattering, my hairdresser tells me that people pay him a lot of money to get my colour.
With respect to makeup, I use powders that are mineral based and they have some amazing ones that cover up age marks and then the one that gives you a natural glow. When I am finished it looks amazing.
Then a little mascara and a neutral colour lip gloss and your all set. You will look amazing. At our age eye shadows don’t usually flatter us, they look like your trying to be something your not. Our skin is not the same as it was when we were in our 20’s and 30’s so we need to use products that suit us.
The trick to make up is to hide what you don’t want seen and highlight your best features and above all look like you have no make up on at all, the more natural you look the better.
