Does anyone have any make up tips for a 58 year old woman with fair skin, greenish eyes, and dark brown hair?

Also, what haircolor could I change to, with my coloring, if I wanted to? Any suggestions? Thanks.

There is no need to change your hair colour unless you don’t like it. My hair is silver and I am constantly being told that it is very flattering, my hairdresser tells me that people pay him a lot of money to get my colour.

With respect to makeup, I use powders that are mineral based and they have some amazing ones that cover up age marks and then the one that gives you a natural glow. When I am finished it looks amazing.

Then a little mascara and a neutral colour lip gloss and your all set. You will look amazing. At our age eye shadows don’t usually flatter us, they look like your trying to be something your not. Our skin is not the same as it was when we were in our 20′s and 30′s so we need to use products that suit us.

The trick to make up is to hide what you don’t want seen and highlight your best features and above all look like you have no make up on at all, the more natural you look the better.

I’m 27 years old and I can count on one hand how many times i’ve worn make-up and all of those times it was applied by someone else that wears it (so they knew what they were doing).The only thing I’ve ever applied was Lip liner and that was followed by gloss.Anyway I’m going to take Family pictures with my husband and son this weekend and I need some quick tips.I want to look as natural as possible.I have clear skin & I’m brown skinned.I am a black woman and I said before I want to look as natural as possible with just a hint of color! SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE.

The best makeup for brown skins would be colours from pale beige to rich brown.

Dark colours need shades that will complement their skin tones.

Use foundations and powder compacts according to your colour. If the exact shade you would like is not available then select a shade that is closest to your neck colour and add a little distilled water to make it more translucent.

On dark circles apply Foundation colour which is one shade
lighter than the shade applied on the face. This will make dark circles around the eyes look lighter.

Brown mascara looks beautiful on dark colour. A black eye pencil rimming the eyes can give a stunning impression.

Soft eye shadow in brown giving the winged doe-eyed look would be excellent, this should blend into the upper brow bone, from a soft brown to soft brick brown. Soft brown eye shadow used on the lower lashes would complete the entire effect.

Lipstick shades of maroon or brown will look good on brown skin.

Blusher shades in Maroon and brown will go well.

My character needs to look really tired and I was hoping someone could recommend how I could achieve this look with make-up. I’m looking for tips on how to look like you have dark circles under your eyes especially. Please let me know what materials I’d need to achieve this look.

Dark purple eyeshdow is great under the eyes for shadows. For "tired", eyebrows that are a bit sunken (drawn on lower than the natural brow) help too, as do downturns at the corners of the mouth done with just a dab of darker lip pencil in the corners of the mouth. Using an ashy looking base will also help a lot. Really though, it’s the actors movements and the way the body is held that will give the big picture of exhaustion.

I just bought a Marilyn Monroe costume & wig on ebay got any tips on how to do my make-up to look like her or any other advice for me?

The make up look was something of the "cat/egyptian" eyliner thing.
No bottom lid though.
The red ruby***** lipstick.
And if you have blue eye contacts,
that would help too.

She obviously had a mole!

I have the Sonia Kashuk Real beauty with DVD and even though I really like it, I would like to find another one that has more tips or information. At an affordable price if possible
I am not a make up artist, I would like just to improve my own make up.

Make up tips on making my face more symmetrical?

i have a symmetrical jaw/chin and cheekbones but i want my eyes and nose to be perfectly symmetrical any make up tips. my 360 has more pics if my avatar is crappy.

Don’t use much, you’re too pretty. I get make up tips from Youtube as well. Also find a gay guy friend. For some reason they do awesome makeup better than female friends.
