This is my 1 year anniversary of adopting the SB lifestyle. I lost 60 pounds (from 180 to 120) am 50 years old and am now in the best shape of my life! I am not YET a total vegan, but do the best I can, and read every label. I totally quit soda, caffeine, sugar and most dairy and processed foods. When I do eat meat today, I notice how it makes me feel and I don’t like it as much. I execise and am fit and happy. Do it and you’ll be happy and healthy!
NO MEAT, DAIRY, and …

If you look at it a bit more carefully, you will find ALL anti-VEGAN remarks came to the same fate. Think about it !!
For one thing, so …
For one thing, so many intelligent people have refuted your ignorant comments that I cannot see them. So you get your wish there.
Secondly, from what I’ve seen, you’re not making valid points. All you’re doing is making fun of those who have a lifestyle that is different than yours.
And that is all that I have to say to you about that.
If you can’t …
If you can’t recognise other people’s VALID comments, don’t read mine.

Some foods, in …
Some foods, in particular those containing mainly fructose, react differently when diabetics consume them. These foods have very similar glycemic response to pure glucose and need careful consideration when selecting a diet.
Sweet fruits and honey need to be treated with caution by diabetics even though their apparent “glycemic Index” is low. I approached this subject in-
Glycemic index – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
in Discussion.
The question I ask is what would Rory know about this ?
It’s appalling to …
It’s appalling to see how many ‘experts’ even partially condone ingestion of high glycemic foods, of any type, for diabetics. And then shun the use of what is known about the ill-effects high GI foods have on health in general. It’s almost criminal they could advise anyone on ‘diet’.
This is what I have …
This is what I have been advocating for some time.
High carbohydrate diets are a definite no go for diabetics. Insulin dosage is only partly effective in controlling high blood sugar as dosage is hard to estimate accurately. Logically, the idea is to minimize carbohydrates and rely on fat and protein to supply body glucose needs.
Still, these VEGAN and RAW fanatics will try to tell you otherwise,
Best diet for …
Best diet for diabetics would be something more along the lines of South Beach or Atkins. Glycemic control without meat and more plant-based is actually a step backwards.
I strongly suggest …
I strongly suggest to you two- GO MIND YOUR OUR BUSINESS !!
Haven’t you got anything better to do than to try to ridicule posters who may be trying to do some good for unfortunate diabetics ? GO GET A LIFE IDIOTS !!
