Referring to the … Referring to the question, what looks like thread i in fact a few fine strands of hair which are then held in one hand and the rest of the hair is pushed back towards the base of the ponytail (holding the strands of hair in your left hand and pulling back the plait in your right hand pushing it towards the base). The plait should be loosened before you attempt to do this by gently pulling the plait apart and making it very loopy. Hope this is helpful

  • clairewallace:

Thankyou very much, … Thankyou very much, I based this hairstyle on various other training techniques that I had learnt and seen and there are slight variations.

  • clairewallace:

What you need to do … What you need to do with the small pieces of hair that you've used to push back on, is to wind them roughly round a pin and place them into the hair where you can't see it. With any up style, care needs to be taken when taking it down and i would suggest removing the lower pony tail / bun first.

  • clairewallace:

I think the thing … I think the thing to do (referring to the half hair up / down style) is to try it. I wouldn't suggest just doing it on the day. But, i can't see why it wouldn't if there is enough hair.

  • dangashh:

I know it may sound … I know it may sound like a stupid question, but what did you do with the pieces of hair you used to pull on? I'm afraid of hiding it into the hair and getting it tangled when I want to take it off.
