Just use fake nails … Just use fake nails. I use my index finger & thumb to hold the nail & then i paint them, then place them in the bathroom & wait for them to dry. It's so much easier plus the paint goes on perfectly

putting your nails … putting your nails in cold water will not solve the problem,infact only make the polish bubble n then you will have to start over. get a quality fast drying topcoat, like seche fast drying topcoat,or out the door. to speed up drying time,also wait a few mins in between each coat of polish you apply. i am a professional tech, n i realise that if you let the colour dry for 5 mins before u apply the topcoat,it avoids thickness of the polish and bubbling, as well as drying quicker! hope that helped.

I'm kinda confused. … I'm kinda confused… This may be a stupid question but this thing is really new to me. Do you let it dry for a little bit AND THEN put it into the cold water or do you do it after you just painted it…?
